We at MBE have a vibrant and talented student community that is actively involved in seminars, business plan competitions, sports and cultural events and social and community work. These activities provide a thrust to enhance the overall personality of the students by instigating a sense of participation and team work.
 
 

The focus is not only on participation but also on organizing a host of events that are conducted all year round by the BEA (Business Economic Association) which comprises of students and are supported by the faculty members and alumni. 

Focus of the Course

Business Economics deals with the behavioral analysis of firms, markets and industries and determination of costs and prices.


The Master of Business Economics (MBE) programme is designed to provide advanced theoretical and applied business economics education in the following areas:
 
 
Grounding in the principles of microeconomics.

An understanding of different schools of thought.

Macroeconomic theory and policy.

Application of the nature of business and its role within the private enterprises system

This programme is particularly appropriate for jobs requiring economic knowledge and skills - for example in macroeconomic forecasting, market analysis, pricing strategy, expansion strategy and portfolio analysis.

The varied background of students along with a judicious mix of fresh and experienced candidates, fosters a mutually supporting learning environment.
